PAS2035 Consultants is proud to announce its appointment as an integral part of Pioneer's independent Retrofit Design solution, supporting the delivery of Warm Homes: Local Grant (WH) funded projects across some of the most challenging property types within the housing sector.

The programme will focus on hard-to-treat homes requiring measures including External Wall Insulation (EWI), Under Floor Insulation (UFI) and specialist Park Home insulation solutions. These property types often present complex technical challenges requiring detailed building pathology assessment, bespoke retrofit solutions and a robust whole-house approach to ensure successful outcomes.

Pioneer has established an outstanding reputation within the retrofit sector and is a remarkable eight-time London Installer of the Year award winner. Their track record for quality, customer satisfaction and delivery excellence has made them one of the most respected installers operating within the energy efficiency and decarbonisation market today.

For PAS2035 Consultants, this partnership represents a natural fit. Both organisations share a commitment to quality, compliance, resident outcomes and delivering retrofit projects the right way. By combining Pioneer's exceptional installation capability with PAS2035 Consultants' expertise in Retrofit Design, building performance and PAS 2035 compliance, we are creating a delivery model focused on achieving the highest possible standards across every project.

We are particularly proud to have been selected to continue the high standards previously established through Cotality Design Services. Taking on this responsibility reflects the confidence Pioneer has placed in our technical expertise and ability to provide independent, robust and compliant retrofit designs that support successful project delivery.

Our role will include the development of PAS 2035 compliant retrofit designs, technical risk assessments, building performance analysis and specialist support for challenging construction types. Through an independent design function, we will help ensure that retrofit measures are tailored to the needs of each property while maintaining compliance, quality and long-term performance.

As Warm Homes: Local Grant programmes continue to expand across the country, the importance of strong partnerships between installers and independent technical specialists becomes increasingly important. We are excited to be working alongside the Pioneer team and look forward to contributing to the continued success of a business that has become synonymous with excellence within the retrofit sector.

Together, we aim to deliver high-quality retrofit solutions that improve homes, reduce energy consumption and create lasting benefits for residents living in some of the most difficult-to-treat properties across the programme.
