Joe Nelson MSc MCIAT C. Build E MCABE

Firstly thank you for considering PAS2035 Consultants Ltd as a partner in your venture. I founded this company as a consultancy to help installers meet their obligations under PAS2035:2023 however it has since grown real legs, due to demand we now provide direct services to a dozen Installers, Housing Associations and Councils. 

I personally have a strong track record of over two decades of built environment experience,  helping to deliver award winning programmes most recently the 2025 NW Regional Large Scale Project of the Year & the 2023 National Insulation and Fabric Project of the Year.

My specialities revolve around Retrofit Assessment, Design and Coordination for which I am accredited with Trustmark (2974605) and with ECMK (303946). 

I hold a Masters with distinction from Salford in Real estate and property management which has armed me with the expertise to truly understand the requirements placed on Housing associations, Councils and landlords. My thesis was a study into whether England was ready for the demographic challenges posed by an ageing population which means I have been studying the relationship between health and housing as well as advising Government bodies on this reality for over 10 years. I am Chartered with the Chartered institute of Architectural Technologists as a Retrofit expert for years and more recently with the Chartered Association of Building Engineers.
